Buenos Aires Luggage Storage Options
Luggage storage in Buenos Aires is a very common concern.
International flights typically depart from Ezeiza late at night, leaving travelers with their suitcase for an entire day after you check out.
Or perhaps you need to stash your big suitcase so you can travel with only a carry on to Iguazu Falls for the weekend.
First try one of these three luggage storage options:
- Ask your hotel. Almost all hotels have luggage storage. If you arrive before check in or need to check out hours before your flight, they should hold on to your bags. Some may even store your bags for a few days at a time. Always ask here first.
- Hire a driver for a city tour and keep your bags safely stored in their trunk. This is who I always hire for airport transfers and his team offers excellent city tours.
- Book your hotel/Airbnb for an extra day. If your budget allows for it, this is the best way to guarantee an early check in or to have access to your room until the very last second before a late flight. If you will be using it for an early check in, inform your hotel in advance or they will mark you as a no show and you may lose the room.

Bounce
Bounce is an international marketplace (think Airbnb) for luggage storage. Rates are low, ranging from $1.80-$4 USD per day.
Luggage stored with Bounce are insured up to $10,000 USD.
There are more than 80 locations to choose from within Buenos Aires, mostly centered around downtown, Recoleta, and Palermo.
Storage locations will be convenience stores, shops, and even hotels. Past users leave reviews, offering peace of mind.
I highly recommend confirming the store’s opening hours to be sure they’ll be open when you need to pick your luggage back up.
Luggage Storage in Buenos Aires Airports
There are two airports in Buenos Aires.
The domestic airport in Palermo – Jorge Newberry (AEP) – does not offer luggage storage.
The international airport – Ezeiza (EZE) – recently began to offer luggage storage lockers inside their brand new pod style airport hotel. This is located in a separate building that takes about a 5-10 minutes walk to reach from the main terminal.
The My Pod Capsule hotel is reservation only, so book your pod or locker in advance.
There is also Your Luggage, offering luggage storage in Terminal A by check-in area I. Follow the “EXIT / Salida” route in the international arrivals hall to find it.
Visit the official Ezeiza site here to view all amenities in preparation for your flight.
